COVID
My recommendations for prevention and treatment of COVID (all variants).
PREVENTION:
Healthy diet—-no sugar, lots of protein and plants. Stay hydrated. Pay attention to your gut.
Move your ass—outside preferably, but any activity helps your over all health
Sleep—good sleep and enough sleep are key. Melatonin may help and helps with antiviral measures.
Mental health—stress will kill you and create inflammation. Find JOY…find 10 minutes of peace.
Supplements:
Zinc—30-50 mg per day (make sure you are getting 2-4 mg of copper per day as well)
D3—5000iu day
Elderberry—liquid or capsules
NAC—600 mg per day
Mushrooms for immunity—-I like HOST DEFENSE Mycoimmunity blend
C-as much as you can handle until you have the poops
Omega 3—2000 mg per day to lower inflammation and keep blood a bit thinner
Probiotics—either fermented food (sauerkraut/yogurt/Kombucha) or take a pill
Others to consider: garlic, artemisia (wormwood), turmeric, ginger, olive leaf extract, reseveratrol….
TREATMENT:
NAC—600 mg twice per day
ramp up D3 to 10,000 or more per day for the next 10 days
melatonin—3-6 mg at bedtime
continue the zinc, C, etc…can even double up
ivermectin—dosed per body weight and taken daily for 8-10 days (***prescription only**** and you must be a patient)
HCQ—200 mg per day (***prescription…again must be a patient)
Azithromycin—5 day round (***presciption…patients only)
prednisone—if absolutely necessary for inflammation (***prescription)
NAD infusions, Vitamin C infusions…all can help.
LONG HAULERS—I use all of the above and have a few other tricks up my sleeve with the help of some compounding pharmacy gurus. Reach out and make an appointment.
My office is being pounded by people seeking the above…if you are a patient, we can help. It is unethical/illegal to just write prescriptions for anyone. Please be respectful and make an appt if you can (we are trying to streamline this processs). Please DO NOT just show up at my office. Call my gals and they will get back to you in the order the calls are coming in. Yes, the treatments work and can be effective for long haulers as well.
